Click on Start button to begin ZIP password recovery process.
Select which attack type and how to configure parameters?
Selecting an appropriate attack type and configuring the corresponding parameters, would save much more of time.
Click on drop-down list below Type of attack, you will see four attack types: Brute-force, Mask, Dictionary, Smart attack.
Brute-force attack: At this attack mode, ZIP password recovery engine will try all possible characters combinations in the specified character set and password length.
If still remember the password range and password length, set it on the Range and Length option.
Mask attack: If still remember partial of the password, it is highly recommended to select the Brute-force with Mask attack.
First, select Brute-force attack type to set the password Range and password Length.
Next, select Mask attack type to set the Start from, End at, Mask box. For example, if your password is "coco123", and you only remember the first part is "coco", then you can set the Start from box to "coco", and set the Mask box to "coco???". "?" symbol indicates the unknown character.
Dictionary attack: The ZIP password recovery engine will try all characters combinations stored in password dictionary.
Find the built-in dictionary on the location where you install this application, and add the possible characters combinations to the dictionary to shorten ZIP password recovery time. It also support self-created password dictionary.

Smart attack: This attack mode, the ZIP password recovery program will try all printable character combinations. So it will take much more time.
If have no idea which type of attack is appropriated for you, keep the default one: Brute-force attack.
