How to remove power on password or BIOS password if forgot it
If you have the power on password or BIOS password, you can enter BIOS and remove them easily. Refer to How to set a power on password to computer. Here want to tell you some tips to remove the power on password or BIOS password when you lose them.
1. If you are using a dektop computer, you can open your computer box, take out the button cell from mainbord, wait for about 10 minitues, and then put the button cell back to mainbord.
If you are using a laptop, I recommand you take your computer to computer maintenance station and ask for help. It is not a easy case to disassemble a laptop for most of people.
2. I have tried to use programs to remove BIOS password or power on password, but I cannot get them work. So I don't have idea on using program ro remove those password.
3. Forgetting power on password will lock you out of your computer, and you have spend much time or money to fix it. So, please do remember the password when you set a power on password to your computer.
